Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials, and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

Resov connects donors (who post and fund grants), applicants (who apply for grants), and admins (who moderate). You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and to provide truthful, accurate information in your profile, applications, grants, and verification materials. Submitting false or misleading information may result in disqualification or account termination.

• Donors are solely responsible for the grants they post, the terms they set, their eligibility criteria, and their funding decisions.
• Applicants are solely responsible for the content and accuracy of their applications and supporting materials.
• Resov is a platform that facilitates these interactions. We do not guarantee that any grant will be funded, that any application will be accepted, or the conduct, solvency, or intentions of any user.
• Any agreement, award, or disbursement between a donor and an applicant is between those parties. Resov is not a party to it.

Some features require a paid subscription. Prices are shown at checkout and, where applicable, converted to your local currency for payment. Payments are processed by our payment provider (Paystack); by subscribing you also agree to their terms. Unless stated otherwise or required by law, subscription fees are non-refundable. Subscriptions may renew automatically until cancelled, and you can cancel at any time from your account.

You retain ownership of the content you submit. You grant Resov a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, and display that content solely to operate and provide the Service (for example, showing your application to the relevant donor). You represent that you have the rights to the content you submit and that it does not infringe others’ rights or violate any law.

You agree not to:

• Submit false, fraudulent, or misleading information, or impersonate any person or entity.
• Upload malware or attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
• Scrape, harvest, or misuse other users’ data.
• Use the Service for money laundering, fraud, or any unlawful purpose.
• Infringe intellectual property or privacy rights.

We may verify users and content, and we may review, flag, suspend, or remove content or accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe pose a risk to users or the Service. Verification does not constitute an endorsement or guarantee of any user.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Resov and CSG Development will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Resov and CSG Development from claims, damages, and expenses arising out of your content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or to protect the Service and its users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be subject to the courts located there, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
